Online auctions · open to the public
Good
finds.
Ready to find a deal? From time to time we put the entire contents of an abandoned unit up for bidding — furniture, tools, household goods, and every now and then something genuinely worth holding onto. It all runs online, so you can take part from home.
What is a storage auction?
A whole unit.
Storage auctions are a normal part of running a self storage facility. When a lease ends or a tenant stops paying, we eventually need to clear the unit so it's available for the next person who needs the space.
How it works
From registration to haul-out.
We run our auctions through StorageTreasures, an online platform where you register, find the Stuff Self Storage location hosting the sale, and place your bids. Here's the whole path, start to finish.
Register
Set up an account on StorageTreasures and find the location hosting the sale. You'll add a card to verify your identity — but every payment happens at the facility, in cash.
Bid
Each auction runs for a set window, and the highest bidder when time runs out wins. We photograph each unit before it goes live, so the photos are what you're bidding on. What you see is what you get.
Win & pay
Won the unit? Payment is made at the facility and is cash only. The units stay sealed throughout — no one opens them ahead of time.
Pick up
You'll have 48 hours during office hours to clear the unit completely. See what to bring →
After you win
Picking up your unit.
Here's exactly what happens next, so you can show up ready.
- 48 hours, during office hours — to clear the unit completely.
- $100 cash deposit — returned in full once the unit is emptied.
- Cash only — for both the winning bid and the deposit.
- Everything goes with you — including anything you don't want. We can't dispose of items at the facility.
